At Voiser, we have made history with a groundbreaking project alongside Gürkan, known in Turkey as “Yerli ve Milli Hawking.” Due to ALS, Gürkan lost his ability to speak and move, but now, thanks to our AI-powered voice cloning technology, he can communicate once again using his own voice.

Our goal in this project was to recreate Gürkan’s natural voice using data from his old voice recordings. Over time, as his condition worsened, he struggled to express himself. By utilizing the recordings he had made over the years, we enabled him to convey his thoughts and feelings more effectively through his unique voice.

The process began by compiling Gürkan’s previously recorded voice data, which was then used to train our AI model. Voiser’s advanced voice cloning technology created an artificial voice model that closely resembles Gürkan’s original voice. As a result, Gürkan is now able to speak using his own voice once again.

Gürkan’s story illustrates how technology can bridge the gap between human challenges and solutions. This project goes beyond simple voice cloning—it gives Gürkan the ability to share his emotions, thoughts, and dreams. It highlights how crucial communication freedom is, especially for individuals facing tough conditions like ALS.
