Voiser.ai Transcription Studio User Guide

1- Upload an Audio File / Add a Social Media Link
To begin the “Convert Speech to Text” process, upload an audio file in .mp3, .wav, or .m4a format from your device. The maximum file size is 200 MB. Alternatively, you can record audio directly using a microphone.
You can also upload links to content from platforms like YouTube or podcasts. The system will automatically start the transcription based on the provided link.

2- Name Your Project
Give your project a meaningful name so you can easily find it later. You can name your project during or after the upload.

3- Set Punctuation Preferences
You can choose from three punctuation options:
Automatic: The system adds punctuation based on the flow of speech.
On: Punctuation marks are added compulsorily.
Off: The transcript is presented without any punctuation.

4- Profanity and Slang FilteringWhen the filter is enabled, any profane or slang words are censored with ***. If turned off, the transcript reflects the speech exactly as spoken.

5- Select the Spoken Language
Specify the language spoken in the uploaded audio. This setting does not translate the text but ensures the correct transcription engine is used for accurate results

6- Speaker Recognition
For audio with multiple speakers, you can enable the speaker identification feature. The system will detect and tag each speaker separately in the transcript. This is especially useful for interviews, meetings, or panel discussions to ensure a structured and readable output.

7- Start the Transcription Process
After completing the settings, click the “Convert Speech to Text” button. Once the file is uploaded, the transcription process will begin automatically. If the tab is open, you’ll receive a bell sound notification when the process is complete. Click the “Go” button to view your transcript.

8- Rename Your Project
Click the pencil icon next to the project name on the right side to rename it at any time.

9- Download the Transcript in Various Formats
You can download completed transcripts in the following formats:
TXT, DOCX, SRT, XLSX (Excel).
Click the “Download” button and select the format that suits your needs.

10- Summarization and Q&A
The system can generate summaries from the transcribed text or answer your questions based on the content. This AI-powered feature offers time-saving insights and quick analysis.
